How Should Terbinafine Be Taken?

Terbinafine tablets are taken at recommended intervals to achieve better control of the infection.

Each tablet contains 250mg of the active ingredient, which is equivalent to 10 Tablets in one course of treatment.

The recommended dose is one tablet taken at the first sign of fungal growth, followed by one or two tablets if the patient is experiencing symptoms of infections such as itching, burning or tingling of the skin, or if the infection is not cured.

This medicine is usually taken twice daily for several weeks at a time, with symptoms usually noticeable within a few days of taking the full course of treatment. It is important to take the full course of treatment as prescribed, even if the patient's symptoms improve, to ensure your infection is fully cleared.
